If you have a refractive error, such as nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism or presbyopia, schedule a consultation with us to see if refractive surgery is an option for you.
We are affiliated with well-respected refractive surgical centers.
There are several surgical procedures for reshaping the cornea of your eyes. The most widely performed type of refractive surgery
is LASIK, where a laser is used to reshape the cornea. Learn more about LASIK by visiting our LASIK FAQs page.
If you have a serious refractive error, this procedure can help decrease your dependence on corrective lenses. Like any surgery, one must accept the inherent risks of the procedure. Although post-surgery many patients can do without corrective lenses, you may still need glasses or contacts once healed to achieve your best vision.
We perform pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care for our refractive surgery patients.
